What to do if having missed a certain class?

• Students who miss classes with unacceptable reasons will fail and have to re-register for that particular level again in the upcoming semester.

Three Acceptable Reasons of Absence:

1. Sicknesses: Medical Certificate needed
2. Decease of parents and close relatives: Death Certificate needed
3. Serious accidents : Insurance claim, police certificate needed

Students having missed class with acceptable reasons:

• Contact your lecturer and present all relevant evidences to justify your absence.
• Get an approval form from your lecturer to sit in another class at the same session.
• Submit your assignments and the approval form to your lecturer.
• Sign your name on the name list of your own section.

Students with the problems below are required to contact the Office of the Registrar

• Campus conflict
• Class conflict with other classes, quizzes, last orientation, or project presentation

Grading System

• U (unsatisfied) = Fail
• S (satisfied)= Pass

Scoring Criteria for Levels 1-4, 7-8

• 50 % for class attendance
  (25% before midterm and 25% after midterm)
• 50% for exercises/assignments in class
  (25% before midterm & 25% after midterm)
• Passing Score (Grade ‘S’): 80-100
• Failing Score (Grade ‘U’): 0-79

Scoring Criteria for Levels 5,6

• 30 % for class attendance
  (15 % before midterm and 15% after midterm)
• 30 % for exercises/assignments in class
  (15% before midterm & 15% after midterm)
• Level 5- Service Learning Project 40%
• Level 6- Service Learning Presentation 40%
• Passing Score (Grade ‘S’): 80-100
• Failing Score (Grade ‘U’): 0-79
